Chronicle Script

Chronicle Script—a “Scotch Script”—is an extension of the Chronicle family, designed by Hoefler&Co. in 2002. Its trans-contemporary body embraces the inconsistencies of the traditional script with the elegant simplicity of modern typefaces. While maintaining a modern vertical stress, a thick bracket serif, and a strong contrast between thick and thin strokes make Chronicle a “classy fashionista”.

Elevating from Chronicle’s transitional features, Chronicle Script highlights the modernity through a clean, crisp and subtle contrast swash accompanied by a ball terminal, and variations of planned inconsistent embellishment.
