Design for America
Summit 2019

In this project, my role is to craft a 3-day Summit experience through branding, space logistic, and wayfinding systems. I also collaborate with a chief storytelling intern to design an exhibition installation celebrating 10 years of Design for AmericaWith(in) Communities.

Exhibition Installation

I collaborated with the Chief of Story Telling Intern, Stephanie Xie to draft the key message of the installation and rewrite DFA 10 story. The installation focuses on three themes: Create Impact, Building Communities and Teaching Design.

Wayfinding System

Signage
The building has a lot of glass walls. I want to amplify the transparency of the space by using vinyl for the design in stead of introducing another material that may disrupt the spatial experience.

The orange color indicates their current location.

Event Schedule
The event has over 250 attendees and offers 3–4 event happening at the same time. All events are categorized into three tracks: Create Impact, Community Leader, and Community Design. I color coded each track to make it easier for participants to find their sessions.
