Thi’s creative practice aligns at the intersection of visual design, teaching, and design research. She explicates design principles and materials to effectively tell stories in both print and digital platforms. Thi loves to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects that amplify the voices of different constituencies and social-economical groups. “I’m passionate about community building and personal empowerment in education, public space, and advocacy. I believe that design shall give community members the ownership to take the lead and build their future communities.”
Thi received her MFA in Communication Design at Texas State University and is currently an assistant professor at DOVAD, Weber State University & design research fellow at the Matthew S. Browning Center for Design.
