I recently graduated from the MFA Communication Design program at Texas State University, where I also teach design courses in in the undergraduate program. This is a documentation of my creative journey in the past 10 years as a design student and teacher. I have a diverse body of work, including branding, campaign, typeface & editorial design, design research, UX/UI, data experimentation, and community-centered projects.

My creative practice aligns at the intersection of visual design, teaching, and design research. I explicit visual design principles and materials to effectively tell stories in both physical (in print & space) and digital platforms. Co-creation and exploration are important in my design process. I love to collaborate on multidisciplinary projects that build communities and empower people in different sectors such as education, health, the environment, and civic engagement to create a more equitable society. I believe that design shall give people the ownership to take the lead and build their future communities.
